What do you like?

I feel that this is incredibly important to consider when preparing your meal.  I know, how silly of me to suggest this, of course you consider what you like, but could you go a little deeper….

I am often asked to give recipe amounts i.e. how many teaspoons of this or how many handfuls of that.  But really it would be much better answered by your very own personal taste tester – your tongue!  Try things, taste all of your cooking, add, reduce, get to know, learn and most importantly enjoy.  This way we can begin to let go of our dependency on cook books etc and release our own internal guide and amazing chef.  And don’t forget your nose!  Smelling food can also give great insights as to what to add.

hot
cold

steamed
roast
the list is endless, there is so much to enjoy and play around with, be creative, experiment, have fun!

I will be giving a few guidelines and advice on amounts in my recipes but ultimately I would like to leave it for you to discover.
